Welcome Message
I am very pleased to launch the Provincial Training Development Unit (PTDU) staffed with 10 master trainers. It is housed at the Education Development Center so that it can utilize the existing meeting rooms, equipment and boarding facilities. It will be headed by Mr. S. M. R. Samarakoon Banda, Provincial Coordinator of PSI.

Training News

A 4-day train-the-trainer institute on Program for School Improvement (PSI) was conducted by the newly established Provincial Training Development Unit in Anuradhapura from 24-27 February 2009. It was attended by 32 trainers selected from 8 education zones and 10 master trainers from the Provincial Department of Education in the North Central Province.

Up Coming Courses

A 3-day workshop for principals will be held from 16-18 March 2009 at the auditorium of the Galenbindunuwewa Zonal Education Office. It will be attended by 30 principals selected from the Zone.
